What we see is an ongoing tree wrapping, landscape intervention project by Zander Olsen.
Sporadically composed, perfectly aligned view points to preoccupy the trees and enhance the horizon. I love this sort of deviation. The very first thing it reminded me of was Magritte’s painting, ‘Le Blanc Seing‘. If only the wrapping remained in the woods, posing the challenge of matching your eye to the ghost of the camera lens.
