Double The Vision My Eyes Do See

This week, I’m taking part in a group exhibition inspired by the life, art and writing of William Blake.

William Blake was a printmaker, frequently etching text around his illustrations. I carved an image in linoleum, basing it on the title of the show. The words are a fragment of a letter written by Blake, concerning his inward and outward eye. I was interested in the descriptions of hallucination and have based my artwork on the ‘Double Vision’ itself. Work in progress…

The exhibition is at:

The Three Stags (upstairs) 67-69 Kennington Road London SE1 7PZ

and runs from Thursday 17th till Sunday 22nd March.
