The Armadillo

I want to exhibit my collection of postcards. The ones that are scattered over the walls of the studio. To begin with; the armadillo. He came from Universitat de Valencia, Spain, and was scrawled in 1590. That’s the best thing about him. The scientific illustrator was being quite serious when he drew this creature, and yet he has become effortlessly expressive, with his little pink tongue and limber legs. Marysia, my cousin, sent the card. She was studying archeology at the university in Valencia a few years ago. She is now in Italy restoring artworks.
